Introduction to Excel and SPSS (EC CP 01)
Objectives of the Course:
Degree and Post Graduate students are required to carry out a research project as a part of their curriculum. This course will provide the students with skills that useful for them to carry out data analysis part in the research work.
Learning Outcome:
It is expected to provide the students about the basic ideas related to excel and spss which is helpful for the students to familiar with the tools used in research analysis. Statistical package for social science (SPSS) is one of the most widely used statistical software.
Certificate will be offered : maximum of 30 students (On campus only)
Hours needed for class : 30 hours (20 hours theory and 10 hours practical)
Evaluation Scheme
Assessment and evaluation of the Certificate Programme shall done by an examination which contain two parts : theory and practical of 30 marks and 20 marks respectively (Total 50 marks). 80 % of class attendance and 50% of pass mark are required for eligibility of the certificate.
