Book Bank Facility
The department owns a separate reference section containing a volume of over 300 books. Department keeps this collection of reference texts so as to help our students especially post graduate students to rely on for writing their assignments and preparing notes. Department subscribes Economic journals, including Yojana, Economic Political Weekly etc. A teacher is in charge of the supervision of the library. Department keeps a stock register and a library issue register for recording the issue of reference texts to students.
Personal Counselling
Under the initiative of Department of Psychology, students, facing problems /stress or family related issues, are identified and proper counselling and guidance are given.
Question Bank
University Examinations:
Department follows a unique way of keeping all the previous year question papers of University examinations with the aim of helping our students in preparing for upcoming examinations.
Competitive Examinations:
Question papers of competitive examinations conducted (that of SET, UGC NET) are also kept.
Back Volumes of Journals & Magazines
Department owns a reference section containing journals and magazines related in the field of Economics and other social science.
Student Project Reports
Students, as part of their curriculum, are required to do project work in the last semester of their UG & PG programme. Teachers encourage them to do their project on socio-economic issues conferred to the society they live in. Department has a rich resource of project work reports completed by the students.
